When you are pricing your home, even the smallest of details are important. Don’t go overboard in pricing, as this will keep buyers away even if your house is a stunner. Similarly, prices that are too low will leave them skeptical because they may think there’s something wrong with it. Research and quote the right price – the ideal number will make your listing stand out in search results.

3. Marketing has its perks

Stay in touch with your agent on how they are planning to market the asset– open houses and direct mail postcards are great options to get the word out in the vicinity. Beautiful pictures that show your home literally in the best light will act as a cherry on top in securing a great deal.

4. Make it Look Grand

Get rid of the clutter to make the place appear more spacious. Fix the creaking garage door or the leaky bathroom faucet. Move the furniture and repair the cabinets in the kitchen and the shelves in the hall. Houses that look great give an impression that the place doesn’t need any extra work before the final move. In addition, a prospective buyer will be less worried about buying a lemon since they know you’ve taken care of the place.
